Mere Green Development

This bespoke home forms part of a small development of five properties, discreetly set within a private back land development in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield. This specific design centres around a pair of simple gabled forms, expressed through a combination of warm red brick and crisp white render, giving the house a clear identity while keeping a residential, familiar feel all the while faming their high vantage views over Sutton Coldfield a top the current street level.

Design wise each home is individual, with this one chosen in particular thanks to it strong contrast between the brick and rendered elements. Both Gables are outlined by sharp clean parapet detailing, with black accents framing rooflines and openings to give the elevation a more contemporary edge while leaning into a traditional form. These elements work together to create a composition that feels both modern and grounded, without being over stated.
